I have just seen inside my REGA planet 2000. Nothing much in there. I'm planning to do some modifications. First I wan't to change the opamp. As far as I can understand the opamp used in the REGA ia a LA 9216. Probably from Sanyo.
Anyone know the quality of this opamp ?

The LA9216 isn't a typical op-amp (like quad op-amp TL074). There are additional several functions on board like logic section and voltage regulators. How great it is the similarity to the LA9215 ? - I don't know, because I don't find a datasheet online. Perhaps pin compatible, but an enhanced quality standart?
To understand the complete theory of this circuit operation, a full schematic so as original datasheet from Sanyo would be helpful. Who can help?
