I'd guess that's a trace that had to carry way too much current and lifted off. Looks pretty bad. Clearly there had to be a reason for this to happen, so further investigation is likely to turn up some faulty component(s). That's a car amp of no small wattage, it seems? That means we're talking beefy power amp plus beefy SMPS. It's hard to tell which section this even is without any more info.

yea you're right on what it is. Here's some more pics, i feel like it's pretty bad..

Honestly car amps are not the best thing to play around with for a beginner.. you have HUGE amounts of current being drawn on the 12V side. This is exactly the sort of thing that lifts PCB traces like fuses, and vaporises MOSFET casings.

Dont even THINK of connecting one up to a car battery for testing - you are risking major bangs and starting fires.

Replacing the obviously-blown parts will likely just result with those parts spectacularly failing again as soon as you apply power. There will be other faults downstream of those parts which cause the fault. It's the sort of thing that needs study of a schematic, and diagnosis with current-limited supplies.

I completely understand where you're coming from but, i'll just learn more and faster. Otherwise i wont learn because i would jst fall asleep reading a page and not even remember what i read. lol which is why i am starting out with the amps i dont care so much about. Plus i've already repaired 2 and sold them with no complaints :D
