denon pma 520 will it work with these ?

Hi people need some guidance
Am thinking of upgrading my speakers, have got Kef Concord ivs at the moment they sound nice
But have been offered a pair of Kef 103/3 with kube question is will these power hungry speakers fry the Denon ?
The 103`s have been serviced new donuts, ferrofluid etc for the grand some of £160
I am very tempted but would I also need to upgrade the amp aswell

I wouldn't call the KEF's power hungry, at 92db sensitive, your 70 watts at 4-ohms should be more than adequate. You're not going to get 110 db but you should easily reach 100 db in a reasonable sized room.
It will mostly depend on your listening habits and how loud you like your music. IMO you will be just fine with the Denon.

It's not the amp you have to worry about. If you overdrive your amp because it's not loud enough you might burn out tweeters.

Thanks for the response. I thought the Denon would be ok but its always nice to get a second opinion.

Its not volume I'm after, its the music that I want to hear
