Default PGA2310 / CS3310 differential use ?

Hello all,

It seems to be possible to use the PGA2310/CS3310 in differential mode to lower the THD/N.

As i have not figured out how, i'd ask it here !

grtz

Simon

You can just use each PGA2310 package in pseudo-balanced mode, remembering to send the same gain setting to each half. I've just got my breadboard running with balanced stereo operation, and first listening tests are good, but I've only done rough measurements so far. THD+N is still better than the floor of the Neutrik Minirator/Minilyzer (-73dB) so I need to get it on some better test gear.

Each channel is buffered at the input by both halves of an OPA2134, and outputs are direct at the moment.

I've built it this way to keep balanced I/O for studio monitoring gear without having to go unbalanced to control level and then back.
