I am deeply saddened by this news.
This man, above anyone else, has inspired me in my involvement in electronics.
In my younger days, where the writings of others would leave me baffled, he had a gift of being able to put theory into plain English.
He embraced both valve and solid state, unlike many other designers, and produced many ground breaking designs over the years, many of which I have built.
I have all of his books and have many of his articles from EW/WW
This man is a God.
