Trimodal amplifier
With reference to my previous post in choosing a suitable class A amp for a friend of mine, - 20-30W, and not SE, -- I am still uncertain in which of the available amps to choose, -- the JLH, Hiraga, JC-3 and so on...
Browsing through some of my older mags loking for an article I came across Doug Selfs trimodal amp from E&WW 1995, .. 20 W class A, 20-40 class B, - and switchable..( summer/winter ??) Anyone built this amp???? |
