Ron Mancini's "Op Amps for Everyone" is available as a PDF on Texas Instrument's website:

http://focus.ti.com/lit/an/slod006b/slod006b.pdf

it's a 2-meg file,

You should have this, Walt Jung's book and The Art of Electronics on your personal library shelf.

Nice. Probably contains just about what I want to know.

BTW, this just the kind of stuff that should go into a
permanent thread a la 'The Solid State Wiki'... or the
Wiki itself...

Walt is a visitor to DIYAUDIO every once in a while -- his big (900 page) book is "Op Amp Applications" which you can get from Analog:

http://www.analog.com/library/analog...-05/opamp.html

He also authored "Audio Op Amp Applications" and has been named as "Author of the Year' or something like that.

Look at http://home.comcast.net/~walt-jung/w...7s-20PDFs.html for some pdf's of Walt jung publications, also his IC array cookbook (7MB).
On http://home.comcast.net/~walt-jung/w...s-20Books.html you find his books.

Ron Mancini did a pretty good job here.
