Default DEI 1100d, what could be wrong?

I have one of those newer DEI 1100d amps (wish i had kept my older trouble-free 1100d )

well anyways. when i connected the amp up and turn on the headunit, the amp turns on for a split second, then it shuts off. Turn off the deck, turned it on again, and no lights at all.

Then I disconnected everything and left it there. Come back another time, hooked it up, and it turned on for a split second before it turns off again. I opened the amp cover and I could see no blown transistor, capacitor, etc, unless this is one of those invisible damages.

What could be wrong?

Blown power transisters are common on car amplifiers in general.
You need to remove them and check them. Electronics parts can
be bad even though they physically look good.

After you check all those, you might as well check the small signal
transistors that drive the output stage transistors.
