I own an integrated amp Luxman L-220 and look for a tuner to use now. I'm thinking about the other choice that, Would it be better to buy a receiver instead ? The Luxman R-1050 as it can be connected to other sources as CD, phono, cassette deck, etc. like the usual integrated amp can be, and also it has more power than the L series amp of mine, the R1050 claimed it has 55W while the L-220 has 50W per channel. But I wonder, there are receiver which can be considered as all-in-one machine and tuner + amp system available. What are the advantage and disadvantage between these two systems ?
