My Behringer PMX2000 Audio mixer/power amp was damaged by lightning. I need to replace at least one output power transistor. The only markings are <C5200-0, and a stylized F and 227> . The
mixer is current German manufacture. There are four of these transistors on each of two output channels. Any one know where I can find a couple. Thanks. |

They are Toshiba 2SC5200. They should be easy to find, but watch out that you don't get fobbed off with any other supposedly compatible Toshiba device as there are a lot of fakes of the predecessor type - 2SC1302.
I would also replace the driver transistors as these probably got damaged as well, even though they may check out OK. They may fail after a while. |

Thanks for the neat info Richie00boy. I'll start shopping around for the Toshiba 5200's and I'll keep a weather eye out for the bad 1302's.
P.S. And what a coincidence, you posted at 4:44 AM and the number pulled on the state lottery here on the 17th was 444. (www.palottery.com). I think I'll bet a few pennies on the fours again this week. |
