Default Transistor X-reference

I'm trying to find transistor substitutes for (or specs. of) a pair of discontinued Hitachi #'s (K175) and (J55). I have been unable to locate these components in any x-reference. I would be greatful for any assistance.
Best regards, Cole Johnson
