Expensive gear???

Hi,

I juste founde a site that claims that some some company,
"Atma-sphere" is selling an amp for 25000!!!!!$

Can this really be??! I mean, does anyone spend this amount of money on a stereo system?
What makes this amp that expensive??? Development cost? or parts?

I cannot get to the site, but I would offer "gullible consumers" as an option.

that´s a lot of amp for 25000$

You can buy much smaller amps, with only 2 or 3 tubes (ongaku one) for 50000$ or more

If people want to spent this amount of money and they´re happy with it.....let them.

People pay considerably more dissected cows in formaldehyde and paintings done in elephant dung.
As for amp in question it is the Atma-Sphere MA-2 MK II
