Jean hiraga's super class a build (my first)

Hello guys, I am attempting my very first amp build...
So where do I start I am looking at the Jean hiraga's super class a.
And that's the extent of what I know right now.

There are few Hiraga amplifier kits on eBay. Not super cheap, but they will save hunting for small parts. Still need power supply, case, etc....

Hiraga uses a Current Feedback Amplifier(CFA) circuit topology. There is a very active CFA thread which offers modern CFA designs, PCBs and some hope of expert support. If you can build relationships, you may be able to buy a parts kit.

I can tell you that the Hiraga 30 Watt amp sounds fantastic! The big thing is that it sounds a bit like a tube amp. That is the key feature I think for this amp. I have built one with boards from Jims Audio(eBay) And then built another one with the boards from Jims Audio with the Kubota regulator on board. I must say this one sounds a lot cleaner than the one with the zeners. So, if you like nice clean sound with a bit of a tube-like sauce, Hiraga is the way to go. I can certainly recommend it!
