Ideas about car audio amplifier from scratch
i found in my garbage one InPhase IPA400 car audio amp.
If i remember that amp gives about 50w RMS at 4 ohms.
i open the case and my suprise was:
output: 2sc5198 / 2sa1941 (Toshiba) genuine. 140V - 10A - 100W (maximum values)
Drivers: 2sc2383 / 2sa1013 (Toshiba) genuine. 160V - 1A - 900mW (maximum values)
Vas - Vbe multiplier: 2n5551
Differential amp: 2n5551
current mirrors: 2n5401
So with that devices i want to make a bigger (at voltage) power supply to give me 70-80w RMS at 8 ohms.
In my car i have 8 ohms speakers and i dont want 4 ohms any more.
Do you have any idea about drivers-vas-vbe multiplier? is that "safe" to keep the original devices or to replease them?
About differential amp and current mirrors i keep the 2n5551/5401. I have a lot of that devices.
Is any schematic out there?
