I am wanting to replace the carbon film resistors in my Marantz 1060 integrated preamp board but am wondering if it is worth it to do them with the shinkoh tantalum resistors or just use new carbon film resistors, I am trying to improve the sound quality and warmth of the original Marantz sound. I'm also trying to reduce the noise floor. Help!

Replace all the caps first, add bypss caps where needed, then fool around with the resistors.

I have replaced all electrolytics in the amp, and am now working on the resistors.
