Default Onkyo A-9155 - no sound but power

Hi

My 4 channel amp has developed a strange problem. Power seems fine, all lights are on and toggle when switching source, speakers A / B etc.. But i have no sound at all.

Tried different cables, sources etc.. but it seems more than that. Any tips or advice on diagnosing would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

First thing to try: reset the amplifier.
Begin by turning the POWER switch off. Next, with the SPEAKERS A and B buttons pressed at the same time, turn the POWER switch on. The whole display lights up and then the A-9355/A-9155 is reset, with the system turned on.

Make sure "tape monitor" is off.
Do you hear a relay clicking some seconds after switching power on?
If not, someting can be wrong with the amplifier, but first check the relay coil resistance, to see if the relay is O.K.
