What do you think about scheme of power amplifier with one-stage voltage amplification such use in AD797?

An op-amp is hardly 'one' gain stage! It is one package though. My amps only have a differential input, a voltage gain driver, and outputs. Simple, clean, and effective.

Will you get enough voltage swing from AD797 or do you intend to use power stage with some voltage gain (say 2x).

The AD 797 gets really good performance out of only one voltage gain stage, doesn't it?

That complementary output stage (diamond follower) is nice too, 50mA of drive!

Update the output stage to a diamond follower and there you are: a very low distortion single voltage gain stage amplifier.

It even has the Nelson Pass 'X' feedback arrangement.

It even has the bootstrap current source the AKSA crowd likes.

One set of drivers and outputs (2 each of MJE15030/31 and MJ21193/94) should give 200W/4R
