Hi.
I have been restoring my Soundcraftsmen MA-5002. Replaced all 'lytics and some bad transistors in the driver board. The amp sounds great but when I turn it off it goes silent immediately and then the sound comes back and slowly fades. The clipping light comes up as well. The manual says that fading sound when turning off could be a bad CR (the MR751) and/or a bad SCR. I sourced a MR751 to replace, but can't find the original SCR (SIPS235). I found the specs for the SIPS235 (200V, 35A). Can I use an SCR rated for a higher value, e.g., 400V, 50A ?
Thanks
Elias
