DIY Solid State amp

Hello,
I am newcomer to this forum. I have developed an interest for audio equipment over the past couple of years. I would like to build a solid state amplifier of my own. I don't know what brand or where to buy. I want it to be something that is very clean almost tube sounding and puts out good power. All of this at a good price. I would like to find a kit that has 100watt power rating or higher. The reason being I would like to be able to drive a pair of OHM Walsh Speakers on it some day. The combination of the two would be heaven.
i am just wondering if you guys could give me a suggestion on where to look, prices, and wattage ratings.

Hi Mitch and welcome.
Why don't you come over to Pass Labs forum.
You'll find the nice AlephX, scalable from 40 to 100+ watts.
Not a bargain but heavenly sound and very much fun to build.
