Hello,
I am newcomer to this forum. I have developed an interest for audio equipment over the past couple of years. I would like to build a solid state amplifier of my own. I don't know what brand or where to buy. I want it to be something that is very clean almost tube sounding and puts out good power. All of this at a good price. I would like to find a kit that has 100watt power rating or higher. The reason being I would like to be able to drive a pair of OHM Walsh Speakers on it some day. The combination of the two would be heaven. i am just wondering if you guys could give me a suggestion on where to look, prices, and wattage ratings. thanks, Mitch. |

Hi Mitch and welcome.
Why don't you come over to Pass Labs forum. You'll find the nice AlephX, scalable from 40 to 100+ watts. Not a bargain but heavenly sound and very much fun to build. /Hugo
