Fender M-80 Bass Amp / distorted output

Hello all,
My apologies, as I had a hip fracture a few months ago and have been unable to resume troubleshooting until now...

thanks - yes, I've cleaned the jacks and pots.... of course, sometimes replacing a switch, jack, or pot is the only way to fix some noise.

I've decided to record a few samples to demonstrate the sound.

The Volume was set on 1.5, and all other controls were on 12 o'clock, with the exception of the chorus (bypassed), in which the rate was at 10 and the depth was on 0, per the schematic guide. The Delta Comp compression was bypassed (although the distorted sound is identical with compression on).

In the attached zip file, I've included 2 mp3 files. There's no password on the files.

In the meantime, in the next few days, I will begin posting the testpoint measurements once again, starting from the first, recommendations in the schematic.

Photo 7 (TP-6) [Delta compressor - 'off'] 2V/Div

This is the test point section for the pre-amp.
