Please some one help me i have a trace elliot gp 12 smx going into a trace elliot PPA 600 power amp and tonight one of the chanels started to distort all the time and not as loud as other chanell i have tried all new leads and have narrowed it down to being the the PPA 600 on chanel B as chanel A working well please any advice does this sound dead or repairable

Sounds like blown power rail fuse on Channel B - fuses are probably internal on PC Board. Could have blown due to excessive volume or temporary short on speaker - replace ONLY with same size!

i am a complete novice when it comes to repair would this be easy to locate and check thanks for the advice though cheers even if this was faulty would it still produce sound ads that is what is happening only its distorted
