That seems to be within the voltage rating for the device, so you should be okay with the higher voltage. Be sure it is adequately heat-sinked, especially if you are driving a low-impedance load.
I built a quick and dirty amplifier for my computer's Live!
sound card using these devices; the performance is quite good driving a smallish pair of bookshelf speakers with a MTM driver arrangement. Needs a subwoofer; maybe I'll get around to it some day.
