Default Emotiva UMC-200 mods?

I have a UMC-200 that I would like to modify. Has anyone on here modified that unit before? Does anyone have a copy of the schematics for it?

God bless...

I contacted Emotiva recently asking to purchase the service manual for my UMC200. Their response was "We are not able to provide the UMC-200 service manual or schematics". This is pretty common nowadays. NO service manual or schematics from the manufacturers. My reason for requesting the UMC-200 is to have it on file in the future, just in case Emotiva ceases to be or is bought up by another company and technical info is lost. This issue has visited me recently while trying to get a service manual for my Fosgate Audionics FAP T1 with a malfunctioning menu screen / input selector. Company was blended with Rockford. Isn't even recognized by their website old product search. Another company is Outlaw. I have a model 950 with a very dim display. They told me they don't make public their tech info. Proprietary tech...for a 15 year old processor. Ship the unit (oh, don't have the original carton I will need to buy the $20 appropriate one), pay a 70 trouble shoot fee and then the repair cost, what ever that becomes. All for a unit that sells on EBAY for $125 on average. (bought another sick one on Ebay and swapped front panel assemblies) Guess my point is unlike equipment of earlier times modern companies won't sell or share service data. From now on I'll buy inexpensive or used gear and recycle it when it dies. Oh yes, Outlaw wouldn't even allow me to deliver it to them and pick it up when repairs were complete in Acton MA. Would have to ship it. What are they operating out of the back of an old dry cleaners shop?
