Hi,

I am looking for a suitable replacement for the power transistors used in this amp. The original transistor is 2SC493 and totally obsolete locally. Someone suggested a 2N3055 but comparing the voltages, the 2SC493 is rated at 80V but the 2N3055 is rated at 60V. Would this be OK. Can someone please advice.

Thanks

Carlos
