Hi.
Does anyone know how to adjust the NAD 7020 receiver's tuner ? The problem is that i can't tune in a station and get stereo, the stereo-indicator knocks when i dial some to the right. The station gets more poor(=really bad) reception while dialing for stereo. The center indicator does light a little if i adjust the dial to the right, but the reception get poor. Now, and only now, the stereo kicks in. Maybe some trimpots have weared out? anyone? The speaker outlet measures some 20mv/40mv , need to change trimpots? Btw. I replaced old trimpots for bias and dc-offset in my NAD 7120 and it sounds great and does not get overheated anymore. Thanks to www.tnt-audio.com i learned how to adjust bias and dc-offset. A great and cheap fix. :-) The amp works great but the tuner-section is dead. I don't know where to get service manuals. Maybe some transistor burned out? Hans Petter.. |
