OK, I know that this is a D381, but I'm totally unfamiliar with the lowercase 'f' for the manufacturer.

Fairchild? I thought a D381 was a NEC device?

Hmmmm...thought we all liked a little game of 'name that transistor'. Maybe not?

I don't think it is Fairchild. The Fairchild logo is as attached below.

Sorry, my mistake, I looked on a faulty website. I think I have found a nice and better one now: http://www.elnec.com/iclogos.php

The logo I showed in my previous mail is from Fujitsu, the one on the transistor is from Fairchild.

Hmm, according to this http://www.elektronikforum.de/ic-id/ ,
the logo is from Fairchild.
The 'big' F is Fujitsu.
There are some Ff's also: "Fake fairchild" :clown:

Greetings

/Hugo :)
edit: Oops...too slow ;)
