Default Byrston 4B repair

My brother asked if I would look at his very old Bryston 4B amp that is acting up.

Both channels work however, there is a large amount of white noise on one side. The other side is fine. When I opened the case I found a few resistors next to the output transistors on the white noise side rather burnt. I checked for grounds on that side and I have good ground continuity.

Looking for any quick ideas before I begin taking the suspect channel apart,

Thanks Stefan

Check the resistors' values first, they may be ok. These are probably the output stage's emitter resistors, which do burn power and can turn color without being bad.
If you're going to repair the amp, you may as well replace all the electrolytic capacitors, which have likely deteriorated.
