INA217 Mic Preamp and its Capacitors

Have we decided that we don't need the input capacitors on an INA217 mic preamp if it's going to live in a world where there never is phantom voltage? The inputs will have a little voltage and current but modern chips don't really have that much of it...I doubt enough to damage a mic.
