Lightbulb What, why, how and where

Hello there fellow DIY Dude´s (or what ever) So i´m a total newbee here so please don´t tackle me hard here so i want to make my own home theater style **** (You all know what i mean right?) and so to be sure what i need i want to ask you (The Pro´s) what amp´s and if i need a preamp and so on....


The system will include this:

LCD Projector
CPu (3 Ghz Pentium 4)
Sony-DVD
Ps2

I want to use the computer as a tv input and radio also and i will have 6 speaker sets and 2 bass sets (in the middle front and back) what i want to know is what kind of amp´s and why? crossower´s and why and so on so who would be so nice to help me out here with some details on my Project wor this Year?


p.s. this is something i want to start making soon and yeah i´m just looking for some detail´s and help from you guy´s who have made amp and stuff before (this will be my 2nd DIY project ever)
