Default Opinions on "Hot rodded" elector HEXFET kits

Today I bought the German magazine Klang+Ton(issue #5 2014) and in it I observed a company named ELTIM selling e.g. amp kits. But why are these based on an amp curcuit published back in 1993? Are the improvments listed real ones? Please have a look !

Without wonderment,no life.
