Default aaahhh

look at these parameters:
isolation pad impedance 0.16(arctic silver 0.005)
C/W=0.4
that means if i put thermal on TO3 so heatsink temp would be when 50w dissipation 50C and micro 70C (arctic silver around 50 and 51) so that means that i loose 20 C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never used pads before i allways used arctic silver and few heatsink for more than 1 micro or transistor. Please people who use isolation pads for long time could you write what is the result?

If you need to isolate the device electrically from the heat sink
you need some kind of isolation pad. Otherwise use only
arctic silver or ordinary silicon grease
if you don't mind it being a bit messy to work with.
