Not sure what a "frequency cancelling phase shift scenario" is, but the answer most likely is no. Quiescent current affects distortion products only, and while their phase may vary according to what the distortion source is, cancellation would be purely accidental, depending on source signal, listener position, moon phase and grandma's birthday.
