Also want to repair a SR1000 from Marantz. Initial diagnostic was one dead side (left) from the guy I purchased it from...When I plugged it, none of the VU meters were moving... Just received replacement STK 465 for my Marantz SR1000. Changed it, also notice that the transistor next to it, behind the heat sink had broken copper connection, repaired this also. Plug it in: Both VU meters, left and right are up like crazy and smoke is coming from two big ceramic resistors 3ohm next to the switches that select the system 1 or 2....
