These are gorgeous tube-like semicondor devices, suitable for a range of audio applications. What is seriously particular is that its curves are truly similar to those of a vacuum triode, or in other words, the sound that it produces will be similar, too. Japan is producing audio-grade optimized VFETs for their hi-end audio applications, but these devices are rarely accessible on DIY market, as they might be their grandma's secret recipes.

May I suggest posting this in the pass labs forum? I'm a complete amateur but the guys there would be much better informed about this... And much better at seeing what this part could do!
