I heard a long time ago SIT has characteristics similar to the tube, L-CAO from Zhongshan, China now has developed a low-power V-FET (SIT), I was fortunate to get L-CAO free V-FET.Recommended by site friends-Niu Gur (? - ??? - Powered by phpwind).

These are gorgeous tube-like semicondor devices, suitable for a range of audio applications. What is seriously particular is that its curves are truly similar to those of a vacuum triode, or in other words, the sound that it produces will be similar, too. Japan is producing audio-grade optimized VFETs for their hi-end audio applications, but these devices are rarely accessible on DIY market, as they might be their grandma's secret recipes.
