Default 300w power amp

Im in the process of building a second HT subwoofer and I was curious about the amp technology. The last 2 amps I used were bash hybrid, the first was a Klipsh 300w amp that went out then I bought a 500w version for my current subwoofer. for my next subwoofer I was looking at getting another 300w bash amp from PE, or a 300w a/b amp from madisound. is there any inherent difference or SQ difference Im missing out by not getting an a/b amp?
