Boris MOSFET 2SK1058 2SJ201 Class A
Your first version, Class AB bias at 50 mA/device, used Toshiba two parallelled 2SC2922 / 2SA1216 output.
I find your amplifier, new MOSFET Class A is a rather good one.
At least what I can see from your paper.
Bias is in Class A, 500mA/device = Total 1 ampere.
Will give teoretically close to 16 watt RMS ( +12dB SPL ) in true Class A output.
B7_MOS is not too complicated and still not too simplified to give problems.
Correctional small trim caps filters has been added to improve overall performance.
My Thinking:
I would like to increase the current ( 6-7 mA ) in VAS stage considerably.
From this follows,
that for input stage I would increase to at least 2.5 mA or more per transistor
to better handle the control av VAS stage.
Your choice of transistors in input, 2SC2240
and for output, 2SK1058 / 2SJ201 are completely in my liking.
About the other transistors I do not know much,
but I am sure they will do the job.
Not every time at this board, we see people submit
such basically good amplifiers.
