Sap Transistors?

Hi all I am very new to this subject, I have a question that I hope some expert techs will be able to help me with. A transistor has blown in my Cambridge audi a500 amp due to some error on my part. I was looking to replace the part, it is a sap15 po 2808. I have found replacements but they are not completly the same, they are sap 15 po "varying last digits" would these be safe to use or do they need to be paired etc. any help would be much appreciated.

These are regular problem parts and there are many threads here about Cambridge Audio and SAP15 darlington transistors that are already full of replies and information about where people looked for these obsolete parts as well. Search posts for "SAP15" at the forum search button. Matching may not be essential for a single pair - don't rely on Ebay stores to sell genuine matched parts. Fakes abound.
Ooops - 'forgot the obvious - They come marked as SAP15p and SAP15n which are the PNP and NPN complements required.
