Default amplifier input jacks

hello everybody
what type of input jack should i use for a power amp?

If you want to use Jack connectors instead of Phono, the normal size is 6,35 mm (2.5") Jacks which are use in many PA amps....

Default It depends on the application:

RCA are commonly used for unbalanced inputs, XLR work well for balanced inputs. Iíve always been partial to barrier strips too.
