Most old VCR's (when they still used transformers) had a power consumption of 40 - 60w.
I would not rate the transformer at more than 50w.

It is for an old AUDIO RECEIVER....not a VCR

It isn't a toroid...its a laminated E+I

Millwood and John WAKEUP (vcr)
the transformer would be suitable for an amplifier that was it was originally used for.......just fuse it properly as to avoid damage to the circuit you intend to use it for
