Thumbs up Musical Fidelity B1 Mk. II

I am now the proud owner of a MF B1! Mine appears to be a mk ii from looking at the silk screen on the PCB, also the fact it has a LED power switch.

My amp is fitted with 2N5880 transistors. It appears to be in working order, according to the seller it has never been serviced. He bought it new from a dealer way back.

I've found the schematics for the mk i, and since i plan on doing a couple of mods as time goes by(either decrease gain or swap out the preamp opamp, swap out the volume pot as it's a bit noisy above the old operating range, which is 5 to 11 o'clock approx.)

Does anyone know the differences between the mk ii and the mk i, besides the led power switch and the 2N5880's?

I'm thoroughly in love with this amp, and i plan on creating a page similar to Mark's A1 page for the B1. Auditioning it alongside a Nad320BEE at the seller it made the choice easy. I'm a sucker for female vocals sounding good and good imaging, i feel this amp excels in both. Highly recommended!
