I see her wearing 65vdc = 45 vac, and using 4 pairs tr finals, how to get 1000 watt output?

sorry my bad english

AudioSan 14th July 2013 01:56 PM

1000W output with +/-65V rails???
realistic power: 225Wrms at 8ohm. 400Wrms at 4ohm.
bridged you can get 800Wrms at 8ohm any lower impedance demands a lot of outputs.

shinoby 14th July 2013 02:02 PM

I took it out of their group, as they are a group of very excited, PA is claimed to be capable of 1000 watts to 2500 watts in bridged mode

AudioSan 14th July 2013 02:13 PM

i can claim that i have a 1000W amp running on +/-30V. but that don't make it true:)
fantasy power and realistic power is not the same:)
realistic power for this amp is:
60*0.707=42.4Vrms.
42.4*42.4/8ohm=224.7Wrms

jaycee 14th July 2013 02:49 PM

Not 1000W, lousy VAS transistors, lousy bias scheme, lousy drivers.

nano nano 14th July 2013 02:56 PM

might be 1000wat PMPO
