Does anyone know what output devices those monster GE amps used.
FYI the amps were made in the 80's, had 64 output devices, amps were mono. 20 KW into 4 ohm load, that's right 20,000 watts. The output was designed my Crown and the driver boards by GE. I have no dilussions of making one of these, I'm just wondering how it was made. They are supposedly stable into < 1/4 ohm.
