I have 2 Behringer Super X-pro active crossovers and want to make a 4 way system. I was originally thinking that I could use Parts Express amp boards but realized that power supplies are damned expensive and big for any reasonable power output.
I would like some input on my options for reasonably priced amplification of decent quality. Would be nice to have at least 100 clean rms watts per channel for subs, the midbass, midrange and treble amps can be smaller. Shooting for crossover points of 90/600/6000. Also, is there any way a 4 channel receiver can be used as 2 separate stereo amplifiers for different passbands?
