Only match the mosfets. The MPSA18 /ZTX450 don't need to be mathed.

Al Bundy,
Al, firstly I think you would get alot more responses if you posted in the Pass Labs Forum on this site. Secondly, the power MOSFETS must be matched, otherwise you can expect to see quite a bit of DC offset on the output of your amp. This is not a good thing for your amp or speakers (your speakers look like a short to DC) and you can expect lots of smoke if you do not trim the DC offset. I suggest you read some of the Aleph X threads in the Pass Labs forum. HTH. BTW there is an Aleph X PCB group buy for $5/board going on as we speak. Visit the Aleph X PCB group buy wiki to sign up.

That's ok. The omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent
Pass (or his horde of minions) grazes all forums. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Erg! What am I doing here?
What has Pass done to me? I have wandered far from my path of KT-88s and 300Bs, but I remain steadfast on finding my Zen.... Does it exist in empty space, or on a wafer? Only my ears will tell the truth. |
