Yes, it's power supply.
No, it's not regulated. It's cap multiplier.
Shaan wrote 35V is max, I had 38V after rectifier, so I used cap multiplier to lower voltage to 34V. As I had trafo with three wires on secondary (27,5 - 0 - 27,5 VAC), I tried with N-type MOSFET at + rail and P-type at - rail, but I got 0,5V difference between rails. Then I had to open trafo, divide common zero wires, so I got separated windings and I could use only N-type (IRF530, that's what I had). Now I have equal output voltages for both rails.
When I finished power supply, I saw naf used 40V rails and realised I didn't have to bother to lower supply, but anyway cap multiplier is useful.
In a few hours I'll finish soldering and post pics.

Is there a big difference between the original 2sa1381/sc3503 and the BD139/140??

Yes. Availability. BD devices are spread like grass over the world(or like a plague, to some who hate them). :D

Why should just one, Shaan? please share .. so that we can taste them.:D

What I meant is that there will be a VSSA PeeCeeBee with two pairs of FETs. :)

Of course I'll share it, gonna miss the fun if I don't.
