Got myself a new amp to try and fix (better said, will get it tomorrow when things go well) and now the user manual states "The
output stage is arranged in a full complimentary format
for class AB/2 operation" and I thought, that's a first, never heard of that before. :usd:

Now I treid to search and find some info but most (if not all) seems to relate to tube gear and HAM transmitter amps but not so much for a solid state (hifi) power amp. If I understand correctly it has to do with the bias and it being lower that normal AB and I can't seem to think of a reason why that would be good, other thing seemed to suggest it has to do with getting more power but in this case that would be 145 watt in 8 ohm with 2 output pairs (mj21194/93) witch doesn't seem much (?) (and somehow it doesn't seem to be a cost thing either)

Perhaps its just sale pitch mumbo jumbo or is there more to it then that?

AB international precedent 1450 is the amp.
