Cambridge Audio P35

Dear Friends,

I am trying to fix an old P35 amp. The "radio", "CD" and "Tape" inputs are working but the "Disc" input is totally dead (no sound). There was a burnt transistor near the edge of the preamp board connected to a 100ohm resistor. Only the last digit (6) is visible, so I guess it has to be a BC546 like the other transistors on the preamp board, but still no difference. There are two TL072 eight pin ICs on the board, when I check for bipolar voltages on the pin 4 and pin 8, there are no voltages at all. Even the transistors have no voltages. I guess the voltages to the preamp board are coming from the power amp board thru the thick connecting cable. All the transistor, caps and resistors seem OK. I do not have a schematic. Pls can someone advice what could be the problem.

You have confirmed the rails appear to be missing (no voltage on pins 4 and 8 of the opamps).

The burnt resistor suggests something has failed but without seeing a circuit its impossible to say what. It should be an easy fix but without seeing one, or its circuit... its anyones guess.
