the best thing is to buy all then go with the one you like... I bought elna silmics based on others opinions but it was not that great to me loss of details, loss of transients and muffled mids and bump in bass
so i thought to try cerafine as they are very clear but might lack something... so its all your taste... so taste it and choose which you like... |

get the three each type a pair and test them finally sell on ebay the one you dont like... simple..
I always say that in terms of caps you can do this but if its circuit design then its not right to say test all... |

Hi!
I'm changing the main caps in my Sansui AUG77XII which are Nichicon 10000uf 80V because they are too old. I wonder whether I can replace it with the newer Nichicon KG Gold Tune caps rated at 15000uf 63V. I'm not sure which has the better effect, higher uf or higher voltage? Is the original 80v really necessary or just an overkill by sansui to impress because the physical size is bigger? I would appreciate any feedback on this matter. Thanks. |
