Greetings one and all,
I am a newbie to the world of audio and need help answering a question. But first, a little background on my project: I am creating a dedicated gaming space 14'Wx11'L with insulated walls, sound boards and a three 27" monitor setup for gaming and blu-ray. Originally, I was going to go on the cheap and by a Energy Take Classic 5.1. As I am sure many of you know, this speaker system requires an amplifier to do its thang. In fact, not that I have looked into it, amplifiers are a must. I want the best sound quality possible for no more than $1,500. I was looking at the Onkyo TX-NR818 7.2-Channel THX, 3D, 4k, Network AV Receiver as an option. Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Also, what speaker systems should I aim for? Thanks in advance for your expertise! ~MLGamer Last edited by MLGamer; 22nd January 2013 at 08:01 PM. |
