Default Direct substitute for 2SD438 with 2SC1571?

Im unable to find the 2SD438 locally but I can get 2SC1571 ? This will be at bias ckt

You can use pretty much any device here. MJE340 would work well. It has to be mounted to the same heatsink as the output FETs, so a TO-126 device would actually work better than the TO-92 device specified there. You may find that you need to adjust Rb1 to suit - ideally this should be a trimpot anyway.
